First Keyboard Build
I’ve been admiring KAM Superuser keycaps for a while, and finally bought them for my first custom build. I splurged on the novelties, but it was entirely worth it. Paired with Epomaker Sea Salt Silent Switches for a soft sound that wouldn’t be picked up by a mic on calls, and RK68 65% Wireless Keyboard for something lightweight and portable.
It turned out perfectly. I have commands like grep
, env
, whoami
, and sudo su
on my keycaps!!! My personal favorite is :q!
being the escape key.
After signing onto my dream summer internship which will be programming intensive, I wanted to treat myself with a nicer setup. Now I have a proper keyboard (and mouse too!), and if typing can be considered a hobby, it’s now one of mine.
